Acceptance

Peace comes from being able to contribute the best that we have, and all that we are, toward creating a world that supports everyone. But it is also securing the space for others to contibute the best that they have and all that they are.

The first peace, which is the most important, is that which comes within the souls of people when they realize their relationship, their oneness with the universe and all its powers, and when they realize that at the center of the universe dwells the Great Spirit, and that this center is really everywhere, it is within each of us.

Peace is: to live, to love, to learn, and leave a legacy with balance and joy.
Peace is: cooperation rather than competition; to become part of
a synergistic, living whole.
Peace is: the development of our human endowments that empower us
with character and competence in the moment of choice.
Peace is: learning to listen and live by conscience.

Peace is not the product of terror or fear.
Peace is not the silence of cemeteries.
Peace is not the silent result of violent oppression.
Peace is the generous, tranquil contribution of all to the good of all.
Peace is dynamism. Peace is generosity.
It is right and duty.

Accept all that you are. Accept yourself totally as you are. This is the beginning of wisdom. Accepting yourself, putting aside all judgements and rejoice in your uniqueness is having peace with yourself.

Count Your Blessing

I am very curious about the new beta blogger. So I have just signed up the new blogger beta, to try it out. I am so familiar with the old blogger, and now with this new blogger beta, everything is like so foreign to me. Everything is changing everyday. We just have to accept the changes and learn to grow with it. sometimes you have to view things in a positive ways to be happy. If you always think of negative things, then you will always be immersed in your sorrows and you will not allow anything happy to go into your hearts. So accept changes as it comes. Count your blessings everyday to feel happy.

Today I count my blessings....

1. I am blessed with a healthy body

2. I am blessed with two kids -- one boy and one girl
3. I am blessed with loving parents who care so much for me

4. I am blessed with a happy family

5. I am blessed with a home to stay

Inside each of us is a very beautiful place. It is a special place where we really live. It is where we find our truth and God's will for us.

We find that place when we quiet our minds in meditation.
We find that place when we quiet our minds and look within, listening with our hearts, not with our minds.

By taking the time to begin our day in this manner, all the rest of our 24 hours will be influenced spiritually. We can continually tap into this peace and quiet that is only a breath away.
